The Tailor's Cat was established in 1997. Situated in the heart of Cambridge now houses over 100 exquisite bridal gowns by leading designers Ian Stuart, Jenny Packham, Pronovias, Suzanne Neville and Allure. There is also an impressive selection of bridesmaid dresses with over 200 styles to choose from, all complemented by a sparkling selection of accessories. The full range extends from the Designer collections to the more affordable.

The Tailors Cat retains the essence of its boutique roots by offering appointments that are relaxed with a friendly personal service, adapted to the individual needs of each client.

"At The Tailors Cat we understand the process of choosing your dream dress. Just as importantly we understand the fit and construction of the gown. At every appointment one of our on-site seamstresses is available to advise and assist with any queries and to take any necessary measurements. This is followed by 2 or 3 fittings to ensure the perfect fit as well as the perfect gown. This service is also extended to bridesmaid dresses, ball gowns and evening wear."

Over the years Emma has built up an enthusiastic team offering a wide range of expertise. Everyone is dedicated to providing a unique service, priding themselves on attention to detail. Their joint aim is to always do their best to find each bride the dress of her dreams whether it is for a wedding in a grand cathedral or on a beach far away.

Browsers are always welcome in the boutique. The bridal room is by appointment.
